Canvaswork Mariner's Compass - This canvaswork piece is an adaptation of a traditional mariner's compass. It is worked in a variety of stitches in an assortment of different threads. Participants will select either a kit with spring colors or one with autumn colors. A short lecture on color and design will be included. One day class. Kit fee - $30. Teaching fee - $25.
Pansy Box - This beautiful pansy design is stitched on 18 ct. mono canvas using silk, cotton, and metallic thread. A variety of stitches are taught to enhance the design. This pansy is designed to exactly fit into the White Square Box #99002 from Sudberry House. Finishing will be discussed. One day class. Kit fee - $25. Teaching fee - $25.
Tulip Frenzy Quilt - This colorful quilt is great fun to piece. Seam matching is not a problem. The blocks are paper pieced. Learn how to paper piece and do machine applique. You will be given all those hints to make your machine work easier and look great. One day class. Student brings supplies. Teaching fee - $25.
Crazy Quilt Christmas Stocking - This beautiful crazy quilt stocking is a future heirloom. This stocking gives the student a chance to use all those special fabric scraps and threads saved from special projects. Techniques used include foundation piecing, machine and hand couching, and surface embroidery. Student brings supplies. Teaching fee - $25.
Initially Yours Ornament - This ribbon and holly ornament is a fun to stitch beginner project. Only 3 stitches are used. The entire alphabet is charted. Easy finishing of the ornament is demonstrated. Half day class. Kit fee - $20. Teaching fee - $15.
Surface Design on Fabric and Thread - We will do a variety of surface design techniques. Techniques include dyeing fabric and floss, painting fabric and silk ribbon, marbling fabric, foiling fabric, discharging fabric and printing on fabric. Once you take this class, you will be able to go home and experiment with these techniques on your own. Full day class. Kit fee - $30. Teaching fee - $35. MUST have access to sink.
Miniature Crazy Quilt - Paper pieced fans border this delightful spring inspired crazy quilt. Using your photos, you will make 4 crazy-quilted blocks. Embellishment techniques and finishing will be thoroughly covered. Learn how to take your photos and print them on fabric with your inkjet printer. Student brings supplies. Teaching fee - $25.

Note: All classes require a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 20 students.
